Cancellation Policy
Important – Cancellation Policy
Every effort is made to schedule an appointment time convenient to you. On the rare occasion that you cannot keep your appointment time, we ask that you provide at least 24 to 48 hours notice (1 – 2 business days) directly to reception staff. In line with recommendations from the Australian Psychological Society, staff will attempt to re-fill your appointment time so that any financial loss can be minimised.
Non-attendance or cancellations received by staff within 24 hours incur a fee equal to 100% (incl. GST) of your usual consultation. Any future appointments will be cancelled until outstanding payment is settled. Unfortunately, (1) Rebates cannot be claimed by either the client or Psychologist for appointments where clients have not attended, (2) On most occasions, appointments cannot be re-filled within 24 hours.
